Last night was the Captain's farewell cocktail party. (Ulla, I gave your's and Han's and Lars andCarin's regards to Captain Giske). Jim Brochu came on board in Lima and gave his lecture about Ethel
Merman yesterday. I've really enjoyed the Art at Sea program and today is an exhibit of our water
colours. I'm sure someone will make me a sizable offer for my painting of the Chocolate Tea (ha,
ha!) David stuck with the Spanish class and was able to use some of his new skill in Lima.
Tomorrow we have a private guide for Valparaiso. Our new friends, Natalie and Rod Roesch, have a
friend who lives in Valparaiso and he has arranged a van for us and will act as our tour guide.
Thanks Natalie and Rod!
